Bravehearts - Red Flags

-About

RUCKUS Studio approached me to lead the design and animation for Bravehearts’ “Red Flags” campaign - a project focused on educating parents and caregivers about the subtle warning signs of child grooming. With such a sensitive topic, the visuals needed to be clear, impactful and respectful, without being direct or distressing.

I came on board for my strength in design and story-led thinking, and took the project from early concept through to final animation. My role covered storyboarding, illustration, design development and animation, working closely with the RUCKUS team to make sure every frame carried the right tone. We leaned into a Saul Bass–inspired graphic style, using bold shapes and symbolic metaphors to communicate the message quickly.

The final film was released alongside the broader TVC, radio and outdoor campaign, and has since become part of Bravehearts’ ongoing educational toolkit - used across social media, online modules and in sessions with families and support teams.

It was a challenging project, but one I’m proud to have helped shape from the ground up!
